Maria Lvovna Katz, better known by her stage name Youddiph as well as her pen name Pilgrim is a Russian singer and songwriter. She formed her first group at the age of 13 performing heavy metal songs, and in 1989 met poet Karen Kavaleryan (who went on to write several Eurovision songs) who helped her launch a professional career.

She was Russia's first entrant to Eurovision, representing her country at the Eurovision Song Contest 1994 in Dublin with the song Vechnyy strannik, finishing in 9th place.

Maria went on to do voice dubbing for several films and TV shows including the film Anastasia, for which she was presented with an award by 20th Century Fox for the best performance in a native language. In 2015, she auditioned for the 4th season of Golos, the Russian version of The Voice. The first to turn their chair during her blind audition was 2015 Russian Eurovision representative Polina Gagarina.

Today she still performs in clubs, provides backing vocals for famous performers, and works as a vocal coach.
