The You're a Vision Award (formerly the Barbara Dex Award) is an annual fan award given out to the artist with the most remarkable outfit of that year's Eurovision Song Contest (formerly given to the worst-dressed participant each year). A notable outfit means one that attracts the attention of the public, in no case it wants to say that an outfit is ugly. Taste is personal, an outfit can be notable and liked by many people. The award was originally named after Barbara Dex, who competed for Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest 1993 wearing a rather unflattering handmade dress.
From 1997 to 2016, the award was presented by Dutch Eurovision site House of Eurovision. Following its closure, Belgian site songfestival.be presented the award from 2017 to 2021.
In 2022, songfestival.be announced that the Barbara Dex Award moniker would be retired as it was seen as something negative and decided to put a new focus on the positive side of Eurovision fashion. On 29 April 2022 following an online vote, the award was renamed the "You're a Vision" Award to promote creativity, diversity and positivity.
