You're Good to Go was a song performed as part of a comedic sketch during the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö. It is performed by Sarah Dawn Finer (as Lynda Woodruff) and written by Edward af Sillén, Daniel Réhn and Mathias Venge.
The song is said to be dedicated to the Contest's Executive Supervisor Martin Österdahl, with the title referencing Österdahl's catchphrase of "You're good to go" before the results are delivered.
Lyrics[]
In the Eurovision, the stakes are high
Cause it's television and we do it live
We've been waiting all year now the moment is near
There's nothing to fear, cause our hero is here
All us single ladies wait for the highlight of the show
When Martin licks his lips and says, "you're good to go"
You're good to go-o, you're good to go-o
When Martin licks his lips and says, "you're good to go"
He's the boss of the Grand Prix with his big desk energy
He's got no time for blah blah and he makes me wanna huh huh
The dream of every fan and of every single girl
Cause he's a heterosexual man in a homosexual world
Frank Naeff, Clifford Brown, Christine Marchal wore the crown
Our Stockselius was the king, Jon Ola Sand did the thing
Don't hold back now, let's go through it
Count the votes, there's nothing to it
All us single ladies wait for the highlight of the show
When Martin licks his lips and says, "you're good to go"
You're good to go-o, you're good to go-o
When Martin licks his lips and says, "you're good to go"
