Warum nur, warum? (translation: Only why, why?) was the Austrian entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 1964 in Copenhagen performed by Udo Jürgens in the first of his three attempts.
The song is in the chanson style and features Jürgens wondering why bad things need to happen, such as flowers dying and the object of his affections ignoring him.
It was performed sixth on the night following Finland and preceding France. At the close of voting, it finished in 6th place with 11 points.
