Warum es hunderttausend Sterne gibt was the host entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1967 in Vienna performed by German singer Peter Horton.
Horton sings a slow ballad about why there is a thousand stars outside in the night.
It was performed 3rd following Luxembourg and preceding France. At the close of voting, it came tied 14th place with only 2 points.
This song has the 3rd longest title, behind the 2024 Estonian entry, (Nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi, and the 1964 German entry, Man gewöhnt sich so schnell an das Schöne.
