Voyager is an Australian progressive metal band formed in 1999. They released their first album in 2003 and have released 6 others since then. The current 5-member formation has been together since 2011.
In 2022, they participated in the third edition of Eurovision: Australia Decides with the song "Dreamer". They were the heavy favorite to win, ultimately finishing runner-up to Sheldon Riley despite winning the televote.
On 21 February 2023, SBS announced that the group would represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool with the song Promise, finishing in 9th place in the final.
In September 2023, the band announced that lead singer Danny Estrin was diagnosed with cancer, forcing them to postpone their European tour as he underwent treatment. Estrin served as the Australian spokesperson for the 2024 contest in Malmö.
