Virginie Pouchain is a French singer.
Born in Ardeche, she worked as a hairdresser; only beginning to sing at the age of 18 with the group Montélochante. In 2005, she participated in the show Entrée d'artistes, where she won.
In 2006, she won the French selection to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens. Originally meant to perform with the song "Vous, c'est nous", she was later assigned with the song Il était temps. It ended up finishing in 22nd place with 5 points - three from Armenia and two from Monaco.
Today, she has continued to sing for galas and parties, including a fan-event for Eurovision in 2012.
