Vassiliki, Baroness von Ruffin (née Vassiliki Papathanasiou), best known professionally as Vicky Leandros, is a Greek singer and politician that has enjoyed a long and successful international career.
She participated in Eurovision on two separate occasion, but both times as the representative for Luxembourg. Her first appearance was at the Eurovision Song Contest 1967 in Vienna with L'amour est bleu. Despite finishing in 4th place, the song went on to become an international hit, one of the few non-winning Eurovision songs to do so.
Her second attempt came at the Eurovision Song Contest 1972 in Edinburgh performing Après Toi. She won the contest, the first of back-to-back wins for Luxembourg in the early 1970s.
In 2006, she was elected as a councillor in the Greek town of Piraeus, also serving as its deputy mayor. She stepped down in 2008, citing the stress of her workload and the conflict with her music career.
She was on the third season of The Masked Singer Germany where she was unmasked as Katze (Cat).
