Vesna is a Czech all-female folk-pop group formed in 2016 by group leader Patricie Fuxová. She came up with the idea of celebrating Slavic traditions and femininity through music while studying at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague.
The group released their first single "Morana" in 2017.
Since their formation, the group has gone through some member changes, with the current 6-member lineup together since 2018. That same year, the won the Discovery of the Year award at the 2018 Anděl Awards.
They won the Czech national final in a landslide and represented Czechia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool with the song My Sister's Crown, finishing in 10th place.
Months after Eurovision Song Contest 2023, Tanita Yanková has been inactive in the group.
