Væb is an Icelandic duo made up of brothers Hálfdán and Matthías Matthíasson. They released their first single and EP in 2022.
The duo had attempted to represent their country in 2024 with the song "Bíómynd" ("Movie Scene"). Though they won their semifinal, they finished in 4th place in the final.
They won Söngvakeppnin on their 2nd attempt and will represent Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel with the song Róa. They finished in 25th place in the grand final, getting Nul Points from the juries.
