Un peu de poivre, un peu de sel (translation: A little bit of pepper, a little bit of salt) was the Belgian entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 1966 in Luxembourg performed by Tonia.
The song deals with the singer's quest to impress the object of her affections, whom she sees every day but can't make look at her twice. In desperation, she enlists the help of "the local sorceress", who gives her a recipe to create a love potion. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the potion does its job.
It was performed third on the night following Denmark and preceding Luxembourg. At the close of the voting, it finished in 4th place with 14 points, Belgium's first top five in the contest.
