Timebelle is a Swiss pop band made up of Romanian-born members Emanuel Andriescu and Miruna Manescu, along with Swiss member Samuel Forster. The band was formed while they were all students at the Bern University of the Arts.
The group's name is an homage to the city's Zytglogge clock tower, to symbolize where they all came together.
They had tried once before to represent Switzerland: in 2015 they entered the Swiss national final with the song "Singing About Love", eventually finishing in second place behind Mélanie René.
Two years later at the request of their fans, they came back to try their luck again. This time, they were successful and represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev with the song Apollo. They finished in 12th place in the second semifinal, just a few points shy of qualification.
