The Mamas are a Swedish soul-gospel girl group formed in 2019. The trio consists of Swedish members Loulou Lamotte and Dinah Yones Manna, and American-born Ashley Haynes. Founding member Paris Renita left the group late that same year.
They gained popularity by being the backing group for John Lundvik at the 2019 Eurovision contest in Tel Aviv, providing the firepower for his entry Too Late for Love, which went on to place 5th overall.
After winning Melodifestivalen 2020 (beating fan favorite Dotter by 1 point), they had earned the right to represent Sweden at the 2020 contest prior to its cancellation. They participated in Melodifestivalen 2021 with the song "In The Middle", finishing in 3rd place.
In 2023, the group have announced that they would go on indefinite hiatus to pursue their solo careers.
