The Makemakes are an Austrian pop-rock band made up of Dominic Muhrer, Markus Christ and Florian Mendl. The trio formed in 2012 and since then have released three singles.
They represented Austria on home ground in Vienna at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song I Am Yours. As the host nation, the group had a direct entry into the final along with the Big Five and guest participant Australia. They performed exactly halfway into the final in the #14 position. However, in a complete reversal of fortunes from the previous year, the group was placed joint last place with nul points, along with Germany. Germany also scored 0 points.
