The Busker

The Busker is a Maltese band originally formed in 2012 by Dario Genovese and Jean Paul Borg, with saxophonist Sean Meachen joining them later on. They have mostly released EPs, but their first album "Telegram" went on to receive critical acclaim in Malta.

They won MESC 2023 after a lengthy selection process and represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with the song Dance (Our Own Party), finishing in last place in the first semifinal.
