Edward Victor Johnson was an English singer born in the county of Surrey. He performed in the Eurovision Song Contest 1959 with his wife Pearl Carr for the United Kingdom with the song Sing, Little Birdie.
He had a lot of success with his wife, even entering the pre-selection again with her in 1960, and narrowly missing out against his own brother.
He passed away on 5 June 2018 at the age of 97.
