Tamta Goduadze, better known as Tamta, is a Georgian-Greek singer.
Born in Georgia, she and her family moved to Greece at the age of 22. There, while working as a housekeeper, she participated in the competition Super Idol, where she placed second. In 2006, she released her self-titled album, Tamta.
In January 2007, she participated at the Greek national selection with the song With Love; however, she lost to Sarbel Michael. That same year, she released her second album Agapise Me.
There were rumors of her representing either Greece or Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, yet neither deal materialized. Nevertheless, she released a dance single the following year called "Thantos i Alethia" featuring Sakis Rouvas, along with a new album.
Tamta also intended to participate in the Greek national final for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with "Unloved", yet she submitted it too late to be considered. Nevertheless, it managed to a become a hit within Greece.
Along with singing, she participated in the Georgian and Greek versions of the X-Factor as a judge and mentor.
After significant speculation, on 21 December 2018 she was announced as the Cypriot representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv with the song Replay. She finished in 13th place in the grand final.
