Finale of the "Switch Song" interval act
"Switch Song" was an interval act during the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. Presented by Assi Azar, it involved four prominent Eurovision artists: Conchita Wurst, Måns Zelmerlöw, Eleni Foureira and Verka Serduchka each performing a cover of each other's Eurovision entries.
The entries performed are as follows (in chronological order):
- Conchita Wurst's performance of Heroes by Måns Zelmerlöw. His cover included the animated balloon boy that was featured in Måns' performance during the 2015 Contest.
- Måns Zelmerlöw's downtempo version of Fuego by Eleni Foureira.
- Eleni Foureira's performance of Dancing Lasha Tumbai by Verka Serduchka, accompanied by four male dancers, and using music from the original song.
- Verka Serduchka's performance of Toy by Netta Barzilai, accompanied by his "mother" and four other dancers. The fortune cats featured in Netta's performance during the 2018 contest were projected onto the stage screen, albeit donned with Verka's trademark silver-star headdress.
Following these performances, they joined Gali Atari in an English/Hebrew version of Hallelujah. The stage centerpiece from the 1979 Contest (which Gali Atari with Milk and Honey participated in) was projected onto the stage screen.
