Susanna Marie Cork, better known professionally by her stage name SuRie, is a British singer, dancer, actress, songwriter and musician. She started her musical career at a very young age and started writing songs at the age of 12. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, she has held residencies in jazz clubs around London and has sung backup for other artists including Chris Martin of Coldplay and Will Young.

She is no stranger to the Eurovision stage, she participated as part of the Belgian delegations in 2015 and 2017 providing backup vocals for both Loïc Nottet and Blanche. Additionally, she took part in the songwriting camp to help Switzerland find its 2018 entry.

She represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon with the song Storm after winning the third edition of Eurovision: You Decide. She finished in 24th place, earning much love and respect from fans for continuing on with her performance as a stage invader interrupted it.

  • SuRie became great friends with French representatives Madame Monsieur. When Émilie Satt was unable to perform at Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam due to illness, she graciously took Émilie's place to sing the English version of Mercy, receiving a massive ovation from the crowd.
  • Her brother is pop artist Benedict Cork, who supported 2019 Eurovision winner Duncan Laurence on his Dutch and European tour.
