Stella Mwangi is a Kenyan-born Norwegian singer and rapper. She moved to Norway from Nairobi in 1991 and started playing music at the age of 8. Over the course of her career, she has had several hits in Africa and her songs have been used in many international TV shows and films.

She represented Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf with the song Haba Haba, failing to qualify from the first semifinal.

She made another attempt to represent Norway in 2018 with the song "I Got You" as a duet with Alexandra Rotan and reached the Silver Final.

Stella shares the same birthday as 2015 participants Ann Sophie and Mélanie René, but is 4 years older than both of them.

In 2019, Stella was asked to make a song for the video game "Just Dance 2020". This song was called "MA ITŪ" and is sung in Swahili which is the main language spoken in Kenya - Stella's home country.
