Sonia Evans, otherwise known as just Sonia, is an English pop singer. She is best known for launching her career with UK production trio Stock, Aitken and Waterman and becoming one of the youngest British female singers to score a UK #1 single with her debut single. She had a string of chart successes before tensions arose between her and Stock, Aitken and Waterman, leading to her ending her partnership and moving on.  Her second album would prove less successful than her debut.

Representing the United Kingdom in the 1993 Contest, she finished second behind winners (and host nation) Ireland by just 13 points. She continues to record music and has made various appearances on UK television shows.
