Softengine are a Finnish young adult rock band formed in 2011. They completed their lineup in 2013 by gigging and performing in talent competitions.
That same year they were revealed as one of the participants of the Finnish national finals Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2014 and were eventually selected to represent their home country at the 2014 Contest in Copenhagen. They successfully qualified for the final where they finished in 11th place with 72 points, the country's best placing since their win 2006 with Lordi.
To date they have released one studio album and five singles.
On 6 May 2017, it was announced that Henri Oskár left the group to pursue other projects.
