Siren Song was to have been the Ukrainian entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv performed by MARUV and to be performed in the first semifinal.
After her win at Vidbir 2019, the Ukrainian broadcaster gave her an ultimatum: cancel a planned concert tour in Russia or withdraw from representing Ukraine at the contest. MARUV also disagreed with a list of demands given to her by the broadcaster via a contract, which included stiff fines for any demand she would break.
On 25 February 2019, MARUV officially withdrew as the Ukrainian representative. The broadcaster withdrew Ukraine's participation from the contest 2 days later being unable to find a replacement.
