Silia Kapsis is a Cypriot-Australian singer, she was raised in Australia with a Cypriot father and a Greek mother. She is also a dancer, TV presenter and actress. She has appeared in short films such as Pearly Gates and Welcome To Our Lockdown, as well as serving as an anchor for Nick News AU for Nickelodeon Australia. Her debut single was released in 2022.
On 25 September 2023, CyBC officially announced that Silia would represent Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö, making her the second consecutive Australian-born artist to represent the country following her predecessor Andrew Lambrou. Her song Liar finished in 15th place in the final.
