Sevak Khanagyan is an Armenian singer and songwriter. He moved to Russia with his family at age 12 and studied music at university in Moscow, graduating in 2014.
He took part in the first season of Glavnaya Stsena, the early incarnation of the Russian version of The X Factor in 2015, and made it all the way to the quarterfinals. Later that year, he participated in The Voice of Russia but was eliminated in the knockout rounds. A year later, he participated in the seventh season of The X Factor Ukraine and won the series (coincidentally, succeeding 2018 Ukrainian ESC representative Melovin). In 2017, he became a coach on the fourth series of The Voice of Armenia.
He represented Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon with the song Qami, finishing in 15th place in the first semifinal.
