Senhit Zadik Zadik, known previously as Senit, is an Italian singer of Eritrean descent. She started her career abroad, appearing in musicals in Switzerland and Germany before returning to Italy in 2002.
She was chosen to represent San Marino in the 2011 Contest in Düsseldorf, where she performed Stand By, but finished in 16th place in the first semi final.
Following her participation, she released a new single called "Through the Rain" and the following year released a single called "AOK" in the US.
During 2014 she was a permanent guest on the Canale 5 Sunday show "Domenica Live", choosing to be called Senhit to mark her new career chapter.
To date she has released three studio albums and eleven singles.
She was to have represented the microstate again at the 2020 contest with the upbeat song Freaky!. With the cancellation of the event, Senhit confirmed that she would represent San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song Adrenalina. She finished in 22nd place in the final.
