Samanta Poļakova, known professionally as Samanta Tīna is a Latvian singer. She came to prominence in 2010 when she won the Latvian talent show O!Kartes akadēmija and won the chance to study at a music academy in London. A year later, she won the Moldovan Cup in the Golden Voices competition in Moldova and followed that up with the 2nd prize at Slavianski Bazaar in 2012.
She participated in the third season of the Lithuanian version of The Voice, just missing out on the final four.
She has attempted to represent both Latvia and Lithuania at Eurovision multiple times. On her sixth attempt (and fourth in a Latvian selection), she won Supernova 2020 and was due to represent her country at the 2020 contest with the song Still Breathing. With the cancellation of the event, LTV announced she would represent Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song The Moon Is Rising. She failed to qualify from the second semifinal, finishing in last place.
She was the Latvian spokesperson for the 2022 contest.
