Saara Aalto is a Finnish singer, songwriter and voice actress. She is best known in her country as the voice of Anna in the Finnish dub of the hit Disney film Frozen - she can sing the film's anthem "Let it Go" in 15 different languages. She is also done other voice work for many films and TV shows including the voice of Iris in the Pokémon: Best Wishes series.
She took part in The Voice of Finland in 2012 and finished in second place. In 2016, she auditioned for the 13th season of The X Factor UK, impressing the judges with her audition. She was eliminated in the Six-Chair Challenge, but Nicole Scherzinger loved her so much that she chose her as the wildcard for Sharon Osbourne's Over-25 team and made it all the way to the final where she finished second to eventual winner Matt Terry. She has been working as a judge on The X Factor Finland since 2017, and on 27 April 2018 released her first international studio album Wild Wild Wonderland.
Saara has tried to represent Finland at Eurovision through their UMK process on two occasions: 2011 and 2016, finishing runner-up both times (2011 to Paradise Oskar and 2016 to Sandhja). On 7 November 2017, it was announced by YLE that she would represent Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon with the song Monsters. She finished in 25th place in the final.
In 2019, Saara participated in the 11th season of the UK skating competition Dancing on Ice, becoming the first contestant to sing live while performing. She finished in 3rd place.
