Josiane Grizeau, better known as Séverine, is a French singer best known for representing Monaco in the 1971 Contest in Dublin with the song Un banc, un arbre, une rue, giving the principality its only win.
She made two further attempts at entering the Eurovision Song Contest, participating in the German national finals of 1975 and 1982. Neither song won. She accompanied Monaco's delegation to the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens, Greece.
One of Séverine's idols growing up was Jacqueline Boyer, who won the contest for France in 1960.
