Running on Air was the Austrian entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev performed by Nathan Trent.
It qualified from the second semifinal in 7th place. In the final, it was performed 4th following Belarus and preceding Armenia. At the close of voting, it finished in 16th place with 93 points - all from the juries (it received nul points in the televote).

- Art Demur, a young Ukrainian singer who was one of the stand-ins during the initial technical rehearsals, impressed people so much (especially with his stand-in performance of Amar pelos dois) that the Austrian delegation invited him to be one of Nathan's backing singers in the live shows.
- Another backing singer, Vincent Bueno, was chosen to represent Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. Vincent also produced the Spanish-language version of the song.
- This was the most recent song to qualify from the second spot of a semi-final until 2023 when Future Lover qualified from the second spot of the second semi-final.
