Trivia[]

  • The top 3 of Idol 2008 featured three national final candidates for Eurovision 2017 including Bengtsson. Runner-up Alice Svensson finished in 5th place in the fourth semifinal of Melodifestivalen 2017 performing the song "Running With Lions", while winner Kevin Borg participated in the Maltese final with the song "Follow", finishing third (in 2013 he was runner-up with the song "Needing You").
  • At Melodifestivalen 2020, Robin competed in the same semifinal as fellow Idol 2008 finalist Loulou Lamotte, who is part of the trio The Mamas. Both acts advanced to the final.
  • At Eurovision, Bengtsson performed his song on a treadmill with four backing dancers. He wore a grey tailored suit but changed his outfit slightly between the semi-final and the final: he wore socks for the semi-final but did not during the final.
