Popular was the Swedish entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf performed by Eric Saade.
It qualified from the second semifinal in first place. In the final, it was performed 7th following Ireland and preceding Estonia. At the close of voting, it finished in third place with 155 points, which was the best result for the country since 1999 when Charlotte Perrelli won. It was also Sweden’s fifth third place in Eurovision history.
