Pollapönk is an Icelandic band that specializes in pop-rock music for children. Some fans have equated them to the popular Australian group The Wiggles due to the fact that the members of the group are each represented by different colors, they perform music for children and two of its members are certified preschool teachers. Since their foundation in 2006, they have released four albums and two singles.
They represented Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen with the song No Prejudice, qualifying from the first semifinal in 8th place and finishing 15th in the final. They were joined onstage for the contest by a member of the Icelandic Parliament.
Heiðar Örn Kristjánsson was one of the five jurors for Iceland in the 2015 contest in Vienna.
