Polina Sergeyevna Gagarina is a Russian singer, songwriter, actress and model. She lived for a time in Greece before moving back to Russia to live with her grandmother.
In 2003, she won the second season of the reality series Star Factory, the Russian version of the Star Academy franchise. In 2008, she released her first studio album.
Polina was internally selected to represent Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 where she performed the song A Million Voices, finishing in 2nd place with 303 points.
Polina joined the Chinese competition series Singer 2019 in the fourth week as a replacement for a withdrawn participant and immediately charmed audiences with her voice and song selection. She was eliminated before the final.
She was the spokesperson for Russia in the 2021 contest in Rotterdam.
Besides singing, she has also voice-acted for several animated films, most notably providing the Russian voice for Mavis in the Hotel Translyvania film series.

- Polina was the voice of Tempest Shadow in the Russian dub of My Little Pony The Movie. She is one of two Eurovision representatives to have voiced the character in a foreign-language dub of the film, the other being Selma Björnsdóttir (Iceland 1999 & 2005) in the film's Icelandic dub.
- Additionally, Sergey Lazarev (Russia 2016 & 2019) voiced Capper in the same dub.
- She also the voice of Queen Barb in the Russian dub of Trolls World Tour, also being one of two Eurovision representatives to have voiced the character in a foreign-language dub of the film, the other being Gerli Padar (Estonia 2007) in the film's Estonian dub.
- Additionally, Dima Bilan (Russia 2006 & 2008) voiced Branch in the same dub, reprising his role from the first film.
