Pedro Pubill Calaf, professionaly known as Peret was a Spanish-Romani singer, guitar player, composer, actor and musician.
He was chosen to represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 1974 in Brighton with the song Canta y se feliz, which came 9th with 10 points.
He performed during the closing ceremony at the 1992 Summer Olympics which was held in Barcelona.
He passed away in 2014 from lung cancer, aged 79.
