Nikita Vladimirovich Alekseev, best known professionally as Alekseev, is a Ukrainian singer and songwriter. He rose to fame after placing as a semifinalist in the fourth season of The Voice of Ukraine in 2014, where a single released after the competition became a massive hit across the former Soviet nations. Since then, he has won critical acclaim and awards in his homeland.
He had initially intended to compete in the 2018 Ukrainian national selection for Eurovision, but decided to drop out and participate in Belarus. He won the selection and represented Belarus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon with the song Forever, finishing in 16th place in the first semifinal.
