Niin kaunis on taivas was the Finnish entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 1996 in Oslo performed by Jasmine. The song is sung from the perspective of a woman telling her lover how special she feels when she is with him. She sings that heaven and earth seem more beautiful when they are together.
Despite tying for the final spot with Hungary in the audio pre-qualifier, it was still able to make it to the main event. In the final it was performed 18th following Ireland and preceding Iceland. At the close of voting, it finished last with 9 points, relegating Finland from participating in the 1997 contest.
Jasmine also recorded the song in Swedish, English and French.
