My Star was the debut entry for Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 in Stockholm performed by the band Brainstorm.
It was performed 21st on the night following Finland and preceding Turkey. At the close of voting, it finished in third place with 136 points, which at the time was the second-best effort for a debut nation excluding the 1956 contest,
