Monica Törnell is a Swedish singer and songwriter, who together with Lasse Holm, represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 1986 in Bergen with the song E' de' det här du kallar kärlek?, which finished in fifth place.
During the 1990s, her state of health began to deteriorate and her recordings and scene performances lessened. Since then, she has mainly been active as a visual artist and has exhibited oil paintings in various cities around Sweden, including in Söderhamn and Sundsvall.
