Mon ami Pierrot was the debut entry for Monaco at the Eurovision Song Contest 1959 in Cannes performed by Jacques Pills.
It was performed fourth on the night following Italy and preceding the Netherlands. At the close of voting, it finished in last place with only 1 point.
