Mira Awad is an Palestinian-Israeli singer, actress and songwriter of Bulgarian descent. At the age of 16, she was a soloist for the band Samana, which performed Western rock in Arabic.

Together with Israeli singer Noa, she represented her home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, finishing in 16th place in the final.
