Michael Schulte is a German singer and songwriter. Already well known for posting cover songs on YouTube, he rose to fame when he participated in the first season of The Voice of Germany in 2011 finishing in 3rd place in the final. In 2012, he released his debut album "Wide Awake", which rose to the top of the German newcomer chart.

He represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon with the song You Let Me Walk Alone, finishing in 4th place and giving Germany its best result in 8 years.

He was one of the five jurors for Germany in the 2019 contest in Tel Aviv.
