Michael Rice is an English singer. He was discovered after a cover song he performed on YouTube received hundreds of thousands of views.
He auditioned for the eleventh series of The X Factor UK in 2014 but failed to advance during the Bootcamp stage, and in 2018 won the first season of the BBC series All Together Now.
He represented the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv with the song Bigger Than Us, finishing in last place in the final.
Michael later auditioned for the 22nd season of American Idol, but was eliminated in the Showstopper round and failing to make it to the top 24.
