Miért kell, hogy elmenj? was the Hungarian entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 1997 in Dublin performed by V.I.P.
It was performed 19th on the night, following Barbara Dex Award winners Malta, and preceding Russia. It finished outside the top ten at the close of voting, placing 12th with 39 points - enough to secure a place at the 1998 contest.
