Merethe Trøan is a Norwegian singer, best known for representing Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 1992.
She attempted to represent Norway before, in 1985 with her sister and two other people as the group Pastels, and they entered the Norsk Melodi Grand Prix together. They came third, and the winners of the NMGP, Bobbysocks!, went on to win the Eurovision itself that year.
Trøan won the 1993 OGAE Second Chance Contest with "Din egen stjerne".
