Melodía Ruiz Gutiérrez, known professionally as Melody, is a Spanish singer. She first rose to fame at the age of 10 with the song "El baile del gorilla", which became one of Spain's biggest summertime hits in 2001. She released her debut album that same year.
To date, she has released 6 studio albums and was nominated for two Latin Grammy awards.
She previously tried to represent her country in 2009 with the song “Amante de la Luna” where she won the jury and lost the tiebreaker to Soraya.
In 2024, she was a judge on the 4th season of Drag Race España.
She won the 4th edition of Benidorm Fest and represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel with the song Esa diva. She finished in 24th place in the final.
