Giovanni Calone, professionaly known as Massimo Ranieri, is an Italian singer. He represented Italy twice in the Eurovision Song Contest.
He was chosen to represent Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest 1971 with the song L'amore è un attimo. At the close of voting, it came 5th place with 91 points.
He was chosen to represent Italy again in the Eurovision Song Contest 1973 with the song Chi sarà con te. At the close off voting, it came 13th with 74 points.
