Mary Spiteri is a Maltese singer and television personality. She had made two prior attempts to represent her country in 1971 and 1975 before breaking through on her third attempt.
She represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 1992 in Malmö with the song Little Child, finishing in 3rd place and giving Malta its first ever top 5 finish.
Between 1995 and 2008, she made another 4 attempts at returning to Eurovision, but with little success.

- Mary held the record for the longest-held single note at Eurovision when the final part of her performance in 1992 clocked in at 13 seconds. It would eventually be broken by Natalia Gordienko of Moldova in 2021.
