Martina Bárta

Martina Bárta is a Czech singer and musician based in Berlin, Germany. She currently performs with the jazz band 4 To The Bar.

Jazz is popular in the Czech Republic, but Bárta is unknown even in the country, having only less than 50 YouTube subscribers and a handful of Facebook 'likes'. As well as singing, she also plays the French horn.

It was confirmed by her bandmates on 15 February 2017 that she would represent the Czech Republic at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev performing the song My Turn. She finished in 13th place in the first semifinal.
