Martin Vučić is a Macedonian singer who began his career in 2002 when he won a prize at the Buvda festival in Serbia and Montenegro, which was awarded by journalists and critics. Following this he signed a record deal and won the Interpretation Award at Mak fest for the song "Harem". He was 'Singer of the Year 2004' in Macedonia and also won 'Duet of the Year'. He has been invited to appear on one of Turkey’s most popular TV shows. In Turkey he is known as ‘Macedonian Tarkan’.
He represented his home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 in Kiev with the song Make My Day, which finished in 17th place.
He was also the ninth recipient of the Barbara Dex Award for being the worst dressed competitor that year.
During the 2006 Contest, he was chosen to read out the Macedonian televotes and sang a song in Greek — "Maria Me Ta Kitrina" to presenter Maria Menounos. Much later that year, he was a runner up at the Sunčane Skale Festival with the song "Tise Kucaj Srce Moje", a duet with Goran Karan.
